Commercial Wind Lease Issuance and Site Assessment Activities on the Atlantic Outer Continental Shelf Offshore New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia, Final Environmental Assessment

Ocean Wind, LLC would like to conduct high-resolution geophysical (HRG) and geotechnical survey investigations associated with marine site characterization activities off the coast of New Jersey in the area of the Commercial Lease of Submerged Lands for Renewable Energy Development on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS-A 0498) (the Lease Area). These geotechnical and geophysical activities may acoustically impact eight species of marine mammals in the survey area, 3 of which are endangered species. The IHA would be effective from June 2017 through April 2018.
