Summary

The proposed action is to construct a 5-acre waterfront park along the Passaic River in East Newark, New Jersey to compensate the public for natural resources injured and ecological services lost due to releases of hazardous substances at or from the Diamond Alkali Superfund Site in northeast New Jersey. The park will contain both habitat restoration and recreational use features.
