Experts recap October 2023 and provide outlooks through February

On Thursday, climate and weather experts will discuss key findings from NOAA's U.S. and global climate analyses for October 2023, the latest El Niño/La Niña update and the U.S. seasonal outlooks for temperature, precipitation and drought for the next three months. An expert from NOAA's Lower Mississippi River Forecast Center will also provide a review of the causes and impacts of the record-low water levels along parts of the Mississippi River last month.
