Experts recap August and provide outlooks through December for the U.S.

On Thursday, climate and weather experts will discuss key findings from NOAA's August U.S. climate analyses, as well as the latest forecast for La Niña and how that may influence temperature and precipitation through December. In addition, an expert will discuss the recent rainfall in the Florida Panhandle and dryness along their East Coast.
Note: NOAA's global climate highlights will not be released until September 20, so these data will not be discussed in the call.
