On Monday, Dec. 9, NOAA will announce funding awards to impact ocean observation and the wider blue economy through business accelerators in California, Florida, Massachusetts and Wisconsin as part of President Biden’s Investing in America agenda.
The awards, funded by the Inflation Reduction Act, will foster public-private partnerships and support entrepreneurs and businesses as they develop and commercialize new technologies and information services. The aim is to help communities prepare for, adapt to and build resilience to climate challenges.
