As a GOES-R Social participant, you'll be able to:
- Experience the launch live, in person;
- Tour special locations around the Kennedy Space Center, including the United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas Spaceflight Operations Center;
- Hear from GOES-R experts during a special pre-launch briefing;
- Speak with the scientists and engineers that made GOES-R and its instruments a reality;

Social media accreditation for the GOES-R Social event opened September 5, 2016. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. EDT September 14, 2016. All applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
