The buoy will move with the currents, reporting its location every hour via satellite. Eric and his NOAA Research colleagues Andrew Hoell, Andrew Rollins, Brian C. McDonald and Jeffrey Snyder are recipients of the 2019 Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE).
