VISION FOR NOAA’S ENTERPRISE CLOUD

NOAA uses an accessible, scalable, secure, flexible, agile, cost-effective, efficient, highly reliable, and integrated suite of cloud computing products and services to fulfill its mission. Cloud solutions are driven by requirements and the business case, with the default solution being a brokered commercial, multi-cloud, multi-tenant cloud.

WHO WE ARE

The NOAA Cloud Program Office helps different groups within NOAA, including users, various mission areas, service providers (both inside and outside NOAA), and various other communities, manage their cloud computing needs as they progress through their cloud journey. The NOAA Cloud Program Office’s work includes connecting the services of NOAA’s mission areas and the Office of the Chief Information Officer. It also focuses on important areas like making sure cloud services are well-managed, secure, meet regulations, and use resources efficiently.
