NOAA in the Caribbean is a forum to improve engagement, communication, coordination, and collaboration between NOAA and partners working in the Caribbean to more effectively and efficiently deliver services. Historically, NOAA in the Caribbean has focused on the United States, but we are working to expand our reach to international partners as well.

What We Do

Identify local and regional needs and opportunities

• Assess the challenges and opportunities in the Caribbean to inform a strategic approach and prioritize resources.

Advance collaboration across NOAA and our Caribbean partners

• Build capacity within the Caribbean by increasing coordination and collaboration across NOAA and our partners.

Maintain relationships and share resources

• Engage stakeholders through partner meetings and resource sharing.
